If travelling by car from the South. Leave M6 at junction 44 and take 4th exit (A689 Hexham, Brampton). Follow A689 for approx. 2 miles to small roundabout - take first exit. Stay on A689 for about 7 miles. Turn left for Irthington. At the village shop turn left again and follow road up the hill and along through Newtown village. At the road junction we are directly opposite. The telephone box is just outside our garden wall.
From the North, take 2nd exit from junction 44 onto A689 and follow directions as above.
If travelling by car from the East follow the A69 past Hexham and Haltwhistle and make towards Brampton. It is approx. 14 miles from Haltwhistle to the large roundabout at Brampton. When approaching the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A689 (Carlisle Airport), follow this road for about 3 miles and take the right hand turning to Carlisle Airport, Irthington.
Continue on as above.
There is ample car parking in the farmyard and on the front of the house adjacent to the village green.
